Abstract

Stunting atau biasa disebut dengan balita pendek merupakan masalah gizi yang serius yang dialami oleh balita di dunia terutama Indonesia.Pengetahuan dan sikap ibu yang rendah terhadap pencegahan stunting dapat berpengaruh pada kejadian stunting pada balita. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan dengan media flipchart terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap ibu tentang stunting di wilayah kerja puskesmas SP Padang Kabupaten OKI. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis studi obervasional analitik dengan rancangan penelitian quasi-experimet dengan non equivalen control group design untuk mengetahui hasil perubahannya setelah diperlakukan intervensi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan sebagai bentuk intervensi yang didahului dengan pengukuran pengetahuan dan sikap sebelum intervensi dan diakhiri dengan pengukuran pengetahuan dan sikap setelah intervensi. Pengambilan sample digunakan dengan cara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai pvalue pengetahuan pada kelompok eksperimen 0,001 dan nilai pvalue sikap pada kelompok eksperimen 0,045. Sedangkan nilai pvalue pengetahuan pada kelompok kontrol 0,001 dan nilai pvalue sikap pada kelompok kontrol 0,023. Hasil perbedaan rata-rata pengetahuan kelompok eksperimen dan control 2,01 dengan p= 0,000 dan hasil perbedaan rata-rata sikap kelompok eksperimen dan control 4,389 dengan p= 0,022.
