Abstract

Oil in the collecting station ( SP ) Field Asset X PT Pertamina EP 1 heavy oil Field The Jambi is experiencing emulsion with easy physical properties has a black color and value Concentrated specific gravity (SG) of 0,89; flash point 24,49; -3˚C pour point; 29˚C flash point , viscosity much as 6,23 and emulsion levels much as 0,9 %. with heating method using a heater treater using the method used to treat emulsion Happens. Initial method used in order to obtain oil with good quality. To know how boarding costs immersed heater treater From Husband break the emulsion, then do sampling of free water inlet knockout (FWKO), heater treater inlet, outlet oil heater treater and outlet water heater treater. From the findings of the analysis has been done it was found that the emulsion type happens is water in oil emulsion. Work from inside break the emulsion treater heater reached 80,72% with average value-average emulsion taxable income through the tool much as 0,05 %. While for valuebased sediment and water (BS&W) has a mean value-average sum of 0.01 % . The findings concluded that can heater treater in the collecting station (SP) Field X works well because the levels of emulsion Still Under 0,5% (Abdel-Aal, 2003).
