Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate lhe influence of heat treatment (annealing) in electric fumace and in crucible flre fiimace to mechanical properties of melted aluminium beverage can wilh waste lubricating as fuel oil in direct buming method. Where the highesl value of ultimate tension is in speciment wilh no heat treatment with 13,201 kg/7mm2, and the lowest value of ultimate tension is in specimen wilh annealing in crucible fire fumace with 11,642 kg/7mm2. The highest value of elongation is in specimen with annealing in crucible fire fumace with 1.6%, and the lowest value of elongation is in specimen with no annealing with 1.24%. In Hardness testing , the highest value of hardness is in specimen with no annealing with 68,895, and the lowest value of hardness is in specimen with annealing in electric fumace with 49.681. And lhe highest value of impact energy is in specimen with annealing in electric fumace with 7,131 Joule, and lhe lowest value of impact energy is in specimen with no annealing with 3,564 Joule.
