Abstract
Empat Tugu Gajah intersection in Bandar Lampung City has a high enough Traffic Volume where this location is in the center of City and Meeting between four protocol road segments in Bandar Lampung City. Therefore, at this junction often occurs the buildup of vehicles that cause the length of the queue and vehicle delays due to the area is a shopping center and close to the railway station Tanjung Karang. The accumulation of vehicles caused by the number of vehicles that cross the area is not proportional to the existing traffic facilities. It is feared to have an impact on the environment such as decreasing air quality due to emissions from vehicle exhaust gases. Based on the description the authors conducted this study as a material to provide Solutions to reduce exhaust emissions in the city of Bandar Lampung. The scenarios are done by traffic light engineering using VISSIM program and analyzing vehicle exhaust emissions by using EnViVeR program. The vehicle exhaust emission analyzes analyzed in this study are carbon dioxide (C02), nitrogen oxide (NOX), and particulales (PM 10). The analysis results revealed carbon dioxide C02 decreased by 4.1 g / km, NOx decreased by 0.0647 g / km, and PM10 decreased by 0.00052 g / km Keywords: Simpang Tugu Gajah, Lamp Engineering, PTV Vissim and EnViVer
