Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat soal tipe PISA dan aktivitas menggunakan konteks Perlombaan 17 Agustus yang valid dan praktis yang terdiri dari tahap desain, tahap self-evaluation, tahap expert review, tahap one-to-one, dan tahap small group. Jenis penelitian ini design research tipe development studies yang terdiri dari tahap tahap preliminary evaluation dan tahap formative evaluation. Penelitian ini menggunakan kisi-kisi soal, kartu soal, rubrik penilaian, RPP, soal soal tipe PISA, dan lembar kegiatan siswa sebagai alatnya. Penelitian ini dimulai karena kurangnya kemampuan literasi matematis siswa Indonesia. Penelitian ini berfokus pada siswa SMP kelas VIII di Palembang, Indonesia. Temuan kualitatif penelitian ini didasarkan pada data lapangan yang dikumpulkan dalam bentuk wawancara, foto, dan video kegiatan dan pemecahan masalah siswa. Penelitian ini menghasilkan soal tipe PISA dan aktivitas yaitu aktivitas 1 menghasilkan enam soal, aktivitas 2 terdiri dari tiga soal dan sepuluh soal evaluasi dengan konteks perlombaan 17 Agustus yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh siswa kelas VIII untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berhitungnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat soal yang dikembangkan sangat valid (82,9%) dan praktis (80%), serta memiliki reliabilitas sangat tinggi (α = 0,959). Kemampuan literasi matematis siswa berada pada kategori tinggi (33%), sedang (50%), dan rendah (17%). Capaian indikator Formulate sebesar 80,83%, Employ76,94%, dan Interpret70,56%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa perangkat soal dapat memperkuat kemampuan literasi matematis siswa, terutama dalam memahami konteks dan menyusun strategi penyelesaian masalah, meskipun kemampuan interpretasi dan justifikasi matematis masih perlu ditingkatkan. Kesimpulannya, soal tipe PISA dan aktivitas dalam konteks perlombaan 17 Agustus dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas untuk menguatkan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa. This study aims to produce a valid and practical set of PISA-type questions and activities using the context of the August 17th Competition consisting of the design stage, self-evaluation stage, expert review stage, one-to-one stage, and small group stage. This type of research is a development studies design research consisting of preliminary evaluation stages and formative evaluation stages. This study uses question grids, question cards, assessment rubrics, lesson plans, PISA-type questions, and student activity sheets as its tools. This study was initiated due to the lack of mathematical literacy skills of Indonesian students. This study focuses on eighth-grade junior high school students in Palembang, Indonesia. The qualitative findings of this study are based on field data collected in the form of interviews, photos, and videos of student activities and problem solving. This study produces PISA-type questions and activities, namely activity 1 producing six questions, activity 2 consisting of three questions and ten evaluation questions with the context of the August 17th competition that can be used by eighth-grade students to develop their numeracy skills. The results of the study showed that the developed test set was very valid (82.9%), practical (80%), and had very high reliability (α = 0.959). Students' mathematical literacy abilities were categorized as high (33%), medium (50%), and low (17%). The achievement of the Formulate indicator was 80.83%, Employ 76.94%, and Interpret 70.56%. These findings indicate that the test set can strengthen students' mathematical literacy abilities, especially in understanding context and developing problem-solving strategies, although mathematical interpretation and justification abilities still need to be improved. In conclusion, PISA-type questions and activities in the context of the August 17th competition can be used in classroom learning to strengthen students' mathematical literacy abilities.
