Abstract
FWD (Falling Weight Deflectometer) is a field test equipment for analyzing the structure of pavement including surface layer, base layer, subbase layer and subgrade layer. The purpose of testing the FWD is to determine the value of deflection of a pavement based on impulse load given through a round plate load. Road preservation is a road handling activity in the form of prevention, maintenance and repairs needed to maintain road conditions, so that it still functdon optimally in serving traffic until the planned age can be achieved. The purpose of this study is to calculate the overlay thickness, determine the type of preservation and the remaining Service life pavement Road section that are reviewed from this study that is Betung - Batas Kota Sekayu road section (Sta. 25+000- Sta. 50+100). AASHTO1993 method and Design Manual of road pavement 2017 Ministiy of Public Works Directorate of Highways is used as references in calculate the overlay thickness, determine the type of preservation and the remaining Service life pavement The result from analysis and calculate the overlay thickness, determine the type - of preservation and the remaining Service life pavement that is there are 45 segment of road preservation consisting of 9 segment routine maintainance, 1 segment rehabilitation minor, 5 segment rehabilitation major two layer, 14 segment rehabilitation major three layer and 16 segment reconstruction.
