Abstract

Rumah Budaya Palembang merupakan ruang publik budaya yang memiliki fungsi untuk memperkenalkan seni budaya Palembang dalam rangka meningkatkan citra, apresiasi dan membangun ikatan (budaya) masyarakat. Pembangunan Rumah Budaya Palembang merupakan salah satu bangunan budaya di Jalan Pangeran Sido Ing, Kota Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Tema yang diterapkan pada Rumah Budaya ini yaitu Konsep Penggabungan Arsitektur Tradisional dan Modem. Berdasarkan dengan tema Rumah Budaya yang mengarah ke penggabungan unsure tradisional dan modem, maka konsep bangunan Rumah Budaya Palembang ini menggunakan teori konsep Postmodern. Kata Kunci : Rumah Budaya, Budaya Palembang, Postmodern
