Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran eksperimen terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa pokok bahasan gerak lurus di kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Pagaralam. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan non-equivalent control group design. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling, dimana kelas X MIA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIA 2 sebagi kelas kontrol. Pada Proses Pembelajaran, kelas eksperimen diajarkan dengan metode eksperimen terbimbing dan kelas kontrol diajarkan dengan metode diskusi kelas. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes berbentuk pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 soal untuk hasil belajar dan lembar observasi untuk aktivitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa N-gain rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 0,63 dengan kategori sedang dan N-gain rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa kelas kontrol adalah 0,44 dengan kategori sedang. Secara Statistik dengan perhitungan menggunakan Uji t pada taraf signifikan (α) = 0,05 diperoleh thitung = 3,77 sedangkan ttabel =1,67 terlihat bahwa thitung > ttabel. Oleh karena itu H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran eksperimen terbimbing berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa di kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Pagaralam.
