Abstract

This research is motivated by the presence of the districts in Prabumulih who have not received the same service as other services in the District Prabumulih This study aims to determine how the Household Waste Management in Sub Rambang Middle ax by the Office of Hygiene and Gardening Prabumulih 2014 seen from the planning, implementation, and monitoring. This research used qualitative research method which is to provide the description in the achievement that has been set. In the Management of Household Waste in Rambang Kapak Tengah by the Office of Hygiene and Gardening Prabumulih in 2014 had three dimensions that were the planning of household waste management in Rambang Kapak Tengah already had good characteristics in planning and has been made with well consideration and refers to good preparation planning. Implementation of the management of household waste in the Rambang Kapak Tengah has been running well but not optimal, there are many differences between planning and implementation. The management of household waste in Rambang Kapak Tengah was supervised by the office of Hygiene and Gardening Prabumulih, as for the supervision techniques are directly and indirectly. This study provides advice to office cleanliness and landscaping Prabumulih that can apply the concept of 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle), can provide adequate facilities and infrastructure, and be able to provide training to the community and provide socialization on the importance of managing waste properly.
