Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the content of fiber fraction which fermented with Hi-fer⊕. This research uses the king grass (Pennisetum purpupoides) without fermentation and king grass fermented Hi-fer⊕ divided into 2 treatment , and ten replication. The parameters observed content of NDF, ADF, hemicellulose, cellulose, and lignin. The results showed that the addition of Hi-fer⊕ fermentation inoculant contains NDF, ADF, and cellulose significantly different (P<0.05) compared with controls, but hemicellulose and lignin content of fermented king grass Hi-fer⊕ not significantly different (P>0.05) compared with controls. King grass fermented with Hi-fer⊕ could increase the availability of energy for ruminants.
