Abstract

Having a variety in religions, races, and backgrounds, Indonesia is becoming a culture-rich country. It seems to be undeniable tlien that the laws in Indonesia are based on the customary law, Islamic law, and Dutch law (international). In Indonesia, regulation about Human Rights is stated in constitution that is in Article 28 of Constitution 1945 Amendment stating that constitution comprises the valid values that liave so long been rooted in tlie life of Indonesia people. There are three very influential things in establishment of law system for Human Rights in Indonesia including International Human Rights, Human Rights in Islam and Human Rights values in local wisdom. Tlie valid identity of Human Rights in this country refers to a combination of three values established in tlie culture of Indonesia people that is to respect tlie lights of other people in law and order for life either in community, country, or nation as stated in Article 28 (J) of Constitution, which is "in having rights and freedom, every person must obey the restriction issued in law that is simply to guarantee acknowledgement and respect for other people's freedom right and to fulfill a fair indictment based on moral consideration, religious values, security, and public law and order in a democratic society.
