Abstract

Komering River is a river with hugepotential as flood controling. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the sediment transport in the komering river. In this study, was used two methods to analyze the total sediment discharge in the Komering River in Palembang is the methods Einstein and metoda Bagnold. Values method Einstein for Bed Load for 3 locations in the 9 observation point the highest value contained in location 1 with value 0,72 ton/s at the right point and methods Bagnold the highest value contained in location 1 with value 1,67 ton/s at the right point. Values methods Einstein for Suspended Load for 3 locations in the 9 observation point the highest value contained in location 3 with value 0,32 ton/s at the right point and methods Bagnold the highest value contained in location 3 with value 0,6 ton/s on the right point.
