Abstract

The research objective was to determine the relationship between perception of workload and work stress on young doctor of Sriwijaya University. The study hypothesis that there is relationship between perception of workload and work stress on young doctor of Sriwijaya University. The population of this study is young doctor, 2014 academic year, Psychology of Medical Faculty, Sriwijaya University The total population of this study is unknown, so the researcher using roscoe as the method to determine the sample of this population. Perception of workload measured by the scale reference to the aspect of perception by Walgito (2010) and attributed with aspect of workload by Tarwaka et.al (2004) and work stress measured by the scalereference to the symptoms by Anoraga (2014). Data analysis using correlation analysis is pearson’s product moment. The result of the correlation analysis obtained by value of correlation 0,454 and signification 0,000. It shows that perception of workload have a positive correlation to work stress. Thus the hypothesis is accepted.
