Abstract

This research aims to determine Parenting Patterns and their Impact on Adolescent Association in the Permata Baru Village of North Indralaya district of Ogan Ilir district which includes rules, control, monitoring, guidance, reprimand, attention, example, and parental prohobitions. This type of research is descriptive using a qualitative approach. Respondents numbered three people, namely parents who have teenagers. Data collection methods used in this study were Interviews, Observation, and documentation. Based on results of the study found that parents who implement Authoritarian parenting in young women a have positive impact in everyday teenage relationships and independent achieve achievement in school, can actualize themselves well and away from influence of the environment and bad relationships. Parents who apply democratic parenting to teens who have an open minded tend to have a Positive impact on his teens so that adolescents can sort out and choose which relationships are good and wich are not good for themselves. Parents who apply permissive parenting tend to have a negative impact so that teenagers drop out of school and prioritize mere pleasure without thinking about their future. It is recomended for parents to better understand their duties and functions as parents and understand what parenting is appropriate in caring for their teens in accordance with the conditions and conditions of adolescents.
