Abstract

The objective of this research were: first, to see analyze income and contribution of rubber farming income to total income of rubber farmer in Rawas Ulu sub-district of North Musi Rawas Regency, to analyze expenditure for consumption of rubber farmer in Rawas Ulu sub-district of North Musi Rawas Regency, to analize the factors which influence expenditure for consumption of rubber farmer Rawas Ulu sub-district of North Musi Rawas Regency. This research was conducted in Surulangun Village, Rawas Ulu Sub-district of North Musi Rawas Regency in March 2015. Purposive method was used to select a research location with consideration almost the entire in Surulangun village are rubber farmers and then, also Rawas Ulu was the largest rubber plantation acreage in Musi Rawas Regeny is where this area as the central of rubber plantations in South Sumatera. Simple random sampling has been used as a method for selected sample from population. 60 farmers was selected from 698 farmers.. The source of data were were primer and secondary data. Statistic and descriptive was used to analyze the data. The result show that rubber farming income are Rp.22.371.766,00 per year and contribution of rubber farming income to total farmer income by 74,09% which means that given the dominant contribution to be total income of family. Furthermore, farmers consumption consist of food and non food consumption. Based on data that processed,the average expenditure for consumption of food is 64,09% bigger than non food consumption. Then, The factors that affect consumption spending significantly to farmers is the number of family members, income and the dominant sex.
