Abstract

This research aims to 1) Describes financial capital source of fish crackers processing industry in Seberang Ulu I Subdistrict Palembang; 2) Calculate income of fish crackers processing industry in Seberang Ulu I Subdistrict Palembang; 3) Compare the income of fish crackers processing industry based on financial capital source in Seberang Ulu I Subdistrict Palembang. This research was conducted in Seberang Ulu I Subdistrict, Palembang. The determination of the location of the research was done purposively. The data collection was conducted in October 2016. The methods used in this research is a survey method. The data consisted of primary data and secondary data. The results of this study showed there are two types of capital resource of fish cracker processing industry, namely self-own financial capital sources, and loan capital source from loans. Loan capital source is derived to the two types of financing institutions, namely formal finance institutions and non-formal finance institutions. There is income difference of fish cracker processing industry based on financial capital source. In a month, the fish cracker processing industry which get the loan from finance institution has average capital gain income amount to Rp. 18,770,971.78, whereas the self-own finance capital source fish cracker processing industry has the average capital gain income amounting Rp. 13,729,726 per month. Independent sampel t-test with SPSS 16.0. application show value t-count value 1.552 > t-table 1,303 in extent α = 0.10 means that there is a income difference between fish craker processing industry with loan capital source and fish cracker processing industry kemplang self-own finance capital source.
