Abstract
Types of pond is the one factors can make influence of survival rate and growth of climbing perch. The purpose of research is to know the influence of different types of ponds (semi earthenpond, lined pond and concrete pond) to survival rate and growth of climbing perch. This research was conducted on March 2017 until April 2017 in Field Laboratory, Program study of Aquaculture, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The research was conducted on fish pond 4 x 3 x 0.76 m3, while the net 1 x 1 x 1 m3 which was placed on each ponds. The parameters observed were the survival rate and growth of climbing perch, abundance and composition of plankton with water quality including temperature, pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO) and NH3. The survival rate and growth were analyzed using T test, while the abundance dan composition of plankton and water quality were analyzed by descriptive. The result showed that earthen semi pond treatment had highest value of survival rate 80%, absolute growth of weight 3.25 g, length 2.27 cm and food efficiency 64.54% with water quality including temperature 28.0-30.2oC, pH 4.5-6.5, Dissolved Oxygen (DO) 6.72-7.14 mgL-1 and NH3 0.37-0.47 mgL-1.
