Abstract

Palembang City is one of the cities that are flowed by rivers. areas separated by rivers connected by bridges. The bridge is a unity with the road network and is the main infrastructure that must be maintained its service capability. The research on the bridge feasibility study was carried out on the Air PIM bridge on Letkol Iskandar Street using the Bridge Management System program. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the feasibility of the Air PIM bridge on Letkol Iskandar Street. Eligibility assessed based on the Bridge Management System program includes the condition of the bridge and damage to the bridge. In addition to using the method of the Bridge Management System, the feasibility assessment of the Air PIM bridge uses the Hammer Test and phenolphthalein Test to determine the compressive strength of concrete in the girder, abutment and bridge floor plate and see if carbonation occurs in the upper and lower structure of the bridge. From the results of data analysis, the source of which is mostly obtained from direct surveys to the study site, it is found that the Air PIM bridge needs to be rehabilitated as soon as possible so as not to disturb the activities of residents and not endanger the bridge users
