Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the goal modification target exercise on improving shooting results on the extracurricular middle school country 1 South Indralaya. This type of research is quasy experiment with pretest - posttest one group design. The independent variable is the target goal modification exercise, the dependent variable is the result of shooting. The population of this study were students who took part in football extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan, totaling 30 people. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people. The instrument used was a test of shooting skills. The treatment in this study was a goal modification target exercise. After being given exercise for 6 weeks with a frequency of exercise 3 times a week. Based on the results of research and data analysis with the t test statistic with a significant level = can be tcounted (8,16) while ttable (1.70), then tcount 8,16 ≥ 1.70table then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. thus Ha can be submitted and can be accepted, that the goal modification target exercise affects the results of increased shooting in South Indralaya Middle School 1 Extracurricular students. The implication of this research is that goal modification target practice can be used as one type of exercise to improve shooting results.
