Abstract

Latar Belakang. Sindrom ovarium polikistik (SOPK) adalah salah satu gangguan endokrin yang umum terjadi pada wanita di seluruh dunia dan memengaruhi berbagai aspek kesehatan yang meliputi endokrin, metabolisme, reproduksi dan psikologis. Sindrom ovarium polikistik ditandai oleh oligo atau anovulasi, hiperandrogenemia, dan morfologi ovarium polikistik. Pada remaja perempuan yang memiliki berat badan yang berlebih, aktivitas fisik memiliki hubungan terhadap resistensi insulin yang menjadi salah satu penyebab terjadinya sindrom ovarium polikistik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui korelasi tingkat aktivitas fisik dengan risiko kejadian sindrom ovarium polikistik pada remaja perempuan usia 15-19 tahun yang memiliki IMT berlebih. Metode. Penelitian ini menggunakan 95 data responden dengan kriteria IMT berlebih pada mahasiswa FK Unsri dan siswi SMA di Palembang. Pengumpulan data didapatkan dari hasil kuesioner dan pemeriksaan fisik kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil. Dari 95 responden, didapatkan 30 orang (31.6%) positif mengalami sindrom ovarium polikistik. Distribusi aktivitas fisik menunjukkan sebanyak 37 orang beraktivitas dengan intensitas yang rendah. Dari hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat aktivitas fisik dengan risiko kejadian sindrom ovarium polikistik dengan hasil signifikansi 0,028 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat aktivitas fisik dengan risiko kejadian sindrom ovarium polikistik pada remaja perempuan usia 15-19 tahun yang memiliki IMT berlebih di Palembang.
