Abstract

Early warning and response systems (EWARS) are programs for determining diseases originating from time to time to provide different signals. Different values. The purpose of this research is to process EWARS based on input component (human resources) fund, process (data processing, data processing, data analysis, feedback, monitoring and evaluation) and output (accuracy, completeness report, alert and response) in work area Publich Health Service of Palembang City in 2018. The research method is qualitative with descriptive approach. Informants in the study consisted of 8 people, namely Section Head Surveilance health department, head of Publich health and Officer EWARS. Input components, derived from BOK, officers have enough work. The data components used in the average Publich health are all parts of Publich health outpatient, all publich health do not have EWARS applications, data entry via SMS is sent to the center, presentation of data in graphic, reporting every Monday morning, bait ball activity by sending weekly bulletins on whatsapp and reminders of late Publich health or not sending reports, monitoring and evaluation activities conducted twice in the form of teknique guidance and meetings. The output components of accuracy and completeness of the report have been in accordance with EWARS and the health officer directly responds to the warning. Overall implementation of EWARS at Publich health Padang Tuesday and Publich health Sako has been run with the only one that has one source of funds and reporting in the work area of Publich health. The need for socialization and a clear flow of EWARS reporting.
