Abstract

The Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia in article 31 section 2 mention that each citizen have the right to get education. Beside tht, the law number 20 in 2003 about National Educational System article 5 section 2 also mention that the citizen that have physical, mental, intellectual, or social abnormalities have the right to get special education. The planning of the special for the blind people considerated three major aspects, namely security, informative, and space ergonomic. Because of that, the planning and designing of this final project have more focus on the architectural solution for the space and circulation organization for the blind people needs. The design using two approach, that is functional and contextual. The functional approach is for organizing inside and outside circulation spaces. The radial circulation on the school can shorten the distance between space and more suitable with blind people movement. While, the contextual approach create the round building shape. The shape can minimalize sharp form so less bump or collision between blind people with building or each others.
