Abstract

Fire is one form of disaster that can cause a huge impact on humans and the environment. In addition, such fires can lead to loss of human life, loss of material, damage to documents, loss of facilities, and losses to other valuable assets. Evaluation of fire Emergency response plan is important to anticipate emergencies so that the evacuation is safe and fast. One of the hotel X Palembang, the hotel needs to implement a good emergency response system to prevent and mitigate fire events that can occur in the area of the hotel, the Hotel with a fairly high rate of visitors. This study aims to evaluate the fire response plan of Hotel X Palembang's 2019 building in the year with a look at the management system, emergency response Team, ERP procedures, passive protection system. The audit results of the six variables are then compared to the NFPA standards and regulations applicable in Indonesia. The results showed that management has committed to fire emergency response. Hotel X Palembang already has an emergency response team or an active Response team in the field. No ERP procedures for Hotel X Palembang. For six elements system passive protection means obtain a conformity value of 77.1%. Evaluation of emergency response plan is done on exit route, exit sign, emergency ladder, emergency exit, point of Entry/Assembly point, ERP procedure. The results of the research concluded that the facilities, infrastructure, and elements of fire emergency response in Hotel X still need to be improved.
