Abstract

Health aspects are important for humans who support to do daily activities. The need for electricity continuity in hospitals is used efficiency and effectiveness in accordance with applicable electricity standards, namely PUIL 2000, then an evaluation of the emergency room and nutrition room of Muhammadiah hospital to determine the amount of burden on the room, lighting system and electricity in the emergency room and nutrition room are in accordance with PUIL 2000 such as determining the number of lights, length and cross-sectional area of cable and what safety is used so that the results of calculations and data from the emergency room and nutrition room of the Muhammadiyah Hospital in Palembang are obtained installation data and distribution diagram panel at Muhammadiyah hospital where the panel has a total power of 4424 watts in the Nutrition building and for the IGD room has a total power of 7850 watts using NYM 3 x 2.5 mm cable and MCB 6A Up to 16A. Based on the results of the installation evaluation on the IGD and Nutrition room, it has not met the general requirements of electrical installations (PUIL 2000) because they still have to make changes to the Cable and its protection system.
