Abstract

The objectives of this study are : (1) What are the factors that influence the production of rice farmers at producer level before and after setting the highest retail price (HRP) in Sumber Harta Village. (2) What is the effect of HET on farmers income before and after setting the highest retail price (HRP) in Sumber Harta Village (3) Calculating farmers income from selling rice before and after setting the highest retail price (HRP) in Sumber Harta Village. The study was conducted in Sumber Harta Village, Sumber Harta Sub-District Musi Rawas District as the research location in April 2019 to completion. The method used is the survey method while the sampling method is done by a simple random method, with the determination of the sample using the Slovin formula with a total sample of 35 samples.The data collected consists of primary data and secondary data. The results showed a comparison of rice production before the highest retail price setting of 3,339 kilogram while rice production after the highest retail price setting was 3.769kilogram.The income of farmers in Sumber Harta Village before the HRP determination averaged Rp. 25.443.142,-/Rp/lg/mt. Whereas for the income received by farmers after the determination of HRP is Rp 31.136.584,-/Rp/lg/mt. Keywords: Highest Retail Price(HRP), Income, Production
