Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan kemampuan argumentasi siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika berbasis bukti materi identitas trigonometri. Pembelajaran dilaksanakan berdasarkan langkah-langkah dalam pembelajaran berbasis bukti dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas X IPA di SMA Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes tertulis yang terdiri dari 5 soal uraian untuk mengukur kemampuan argumentasi siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh, hasil kemampuan argumentasi siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis bukti termasuk dalam kategori sangat kurang dengan rincian kategori sebagai berikut : sebanyak 23 siswa atau sekitar 88% dari seluruh siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran termasuk dalam kategori sangat kurang, 1orang siswa atau 4% kategori kurang, dan 2 orang siswa atau 8% termasuk dalam kategori cukup.
