Abstract

This Research aimed to examine the effect of financial performance (Total Asset Turnover and Current Ratio) with Return on Assets as a intervening variable to debt policy (Debt to Assets Ratio) in cement company listed on indonesia stock exchange 2013 – 2018. The data used in this study was obtained from secondary data. Secondary data in this study is financial statement in website of each state-owned banking during 2013 – 2018 periods. The sample study data consisted of 4 cement company is Indocement Tunggal Prakasa Tbk (INTP), Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR), Holcim Indonesia Tbk (SMCB), and Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR). Analysis techniques used is statistics method with data processing program namely Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 25. Result of analysis showed that TAT, CR, and ROA partialy have significant impact on DAR, but ROA as a intervening variable partialy have significant impact to mediation relationship between TAT and CR on DAR. The implication of this study are as a consideration of debt management to produce maximum profitability for banking.
