Abstract

Outflow of labor is the amount of labor that is effective for carrying out an activity both farming and non farming. The purpose of this study (1) find out how much the outpouring of domestic labor in rice farming and duck business in the City of Daro II Village, Rantau Panjang District, Ogan Ilir Regency (2) know what are the factors that influence the outpouring of domestic labor in rice farming in Kota Village Daro II, Rantau Panjang District, Ogan Ilir Regency (3) describes the marketing activities of the results of the rice farming and duck farming. The research has been carried out in City of Daro II Village, Rantau Panjang District, Ogan Ilir Regency and this research took place in April 2019. The selection of place and time of the study was carried out by purposive sampling. The sampling method used in this study is the simple random sampling method. The data collected is prmary data and secondary data. The results showed that : (1) farmers in the City of Daro II Village in rice farming activities tend to use workers outside the family compared to workers in the family. Whereas in duck farming activities farmers tend to use labor in the family (2) that most influence the outpouring of farmer household labor in Daro II Village are the age factor of farmers , length of education, and area of arable land significantly influence the outflow of domestic workers in rice farming. However, the factor of the number of dependents of the family does not have a significant effect on the outflow of domestic workers in rice farming activities (3) marketing is done through farmer groups which are distributed to various traders ranging from large traders and retailers. Marketing is also carried out outside the village, one of them is Tanjung Raja market through large traders.
