Abstract

PT Asjya Indosurya is a subsidiary of Indosurya Group which's carrying out the securities business. One of its branches are in Palembang. As a brokerage firm, PT Asjaya Indosurya have a lot of data, whether the transaction data or client data. Companies can use these data to improve service to the client, one of them by providing information in the form of investment advice. Such as information about what stocks are also purchased when someone buys shares A and what job background and earning of a person that's performed these transactions commonly so these informations can direct the client to make the purchase. Because of it, The company needs an application to generate knowledge that can be used to provide investment advice to the client. This study used a method of association rule (rule associative) which is one of the main techniques in data mining and the most common form used on finding a pattern or patterns from a data set. The data sample used was the last three months of 2014 data, they are October, November, and December.
