Abstract

This research was aimed at analyzing the effect of emotional and spiritual quotient upon auditors' performance At Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan - RI Perwakilan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan In Palembang . The emotional quotient and performance instruments, which measure the variables are adopted from Robert K Cooper and Ayman Sawaf , otherwise spiritual quotient instruments are adopted from Khavari Ian Marshall. Multiple Regression analysis was applied in the research, F test was employed to examine the effect of all independent variables upon auditors' performance, and t test was employed to examine the partial effect. The result show that the auditors performance significantly affected by emotional and spiritual quotient, both together and partial. But emotional quotient give more contribution influence to auditors' performance than spiritual quotient.
