Abstract

The objective of this research is to measure performance of Dinas Kesehatan Kota Palembang for the year budget 2007 and 2008 based on economically, efficiently, and effectively. Research finding has shown that perfomance of Dinas Kesehatan Kota Palembang for the year budget 2007 and 2008 overall is good enough. Dinas Kesehatan Kota Palembang has been able to use its resources (employees, inventories, and budget) economically and efficiently. It also has been able to do many of its activities and programmes effectively But, there are still some lack which have to be recovered in order to increase the performance of Dinas KesehaTan Kora Palembang. Such as, the works in environment Dinas Kesehatan Kota Palembang not yet all them to implement notes in Financial Accounting System and Goods own State System. In order to improve the performance and value for money (economy, efficiency, effectiveness), writer suggests Dinas Kesehatan Kota Palembang to implement notes in Financial Accounting System with true, do it inventaritation BMN, to complete report the monthly that to arrange by works, do it coordination between instantion relation with planning of need goods for avoid maybe happened goods total the there are cannot usefull with direct as with goal thas was to fixed.
