Abstract

BACKGROUND: THE PERCENTAGE OF HOUSES THAT DID NOT MEET HEALTH REQUIREMENTS IN THE WORKING AREA OF THE PUSKESMAS IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2019 STILL IN THE HIGHEST POSITION IN OGAN ILIR REGENCY. IN ADDITION TO KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE IS ALSO ONE OF THE THINGS THAT DETERMINE A PERSON'S HEALTH STATUS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY WAS TO DETERMINE THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDES OF THE COMMUNITY TOWARDS A HEALTHY HOME WITH HOUSING CONDITIONS IN THE WORK AREA OF PUSKESMAS PEMULUTAN, OGAN ILIR METHOD: THIS RESEARCH USES QUANTITATIVE DESCRIPTIVE WITH CROSS SECTIONAL APPROACH. THE SAMPLING TECHNIQUE IS SIMPLERANDOM SAMPLING. SAMPLES WERE TAKEN WITH A SAMPLING TECHNIQUE THAT IS 60 HOUSES IN THE WORKING AREA OF PUSULUTAN PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER, OGAN ILIR. THE RESEARCH INSTRUMENT WAS A QUESTIONNAIRE AND OBSERVATION SHEET. THE RESULTS OF THE STUDY WERE ANALYZED BY CHI-SQUARE TEST. RESEARCH RESULTS:THE RESULTS OF THIS STUDY ARE THE RELATIONSHIP OF COMMUNITY KNOWLEDGE TO HEALTHY HOMES THERE IS NOT SIGNIFICANT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE AND THE CONDITION OF HEALTHY HOMES IN THE WORK AREA OF OGAN ILIR PUSKESMAS (P-VALUE 0.136) (PR = 1.308; 95%; CI = ,976-1,752) , THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COMMUNITY ATTITUDES TOWARD HEALTHY HOMES IS NOT SIGNIFICANT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE ATTITUDES OF RESPONDENTS WITH THE CONDITION OF HEALTHY HOMES IN THE WORKING AREA OF THE OGAN ILIR HEALTH CENTER (P-VALUE 0.151) (PR = 1.375; 95%; CI = 1.057-1.788). CONCLUSION:IT WAS CONCLUDED THAT THERE WAS NO MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDES TOWARDS HEALTHY HOME CONDITIONS.
