Abstract

Construction projects have a potential work accident in every operational activity that can cause major damage such as casualties, deterioration of material productivity and stability. PLTGU Keramasan Palembang is a companies which is currently implementing a development project, namely the construction of a sludge drying bed. Project construction sludge Drying bed itself has a variety of processes in its workings such as welding, casting, filling the installation of tanks, pumps etc. The process – the process will pose a high risk of workplace accidents, especially mechanical work such as the work of the Pembesian, making formworks, this research uses qualitative descriptive methods with in-depth interviews, observations and Study of documents. The research informant amounted to 7 people with 2 key informant and 5 ordinary informant with purposive sampling method. The results showed that PLGTU Kerasaman has implemented a process of risk management in its deployment process. The work of Sludge Drying Bed Unit is divided into 26 step work that is done gradually. Start from doing the tool box until the rest of the mataerial. Based on the analysis carried out using the ISO 31000:2018 standard, the highest risk is in the process of the conductor, which is the risk of short circuit that can cause explosion and fire. Based on this research, it can be concluded that PLTGU Kerasaman has been implementing risk management in the construction of sludge drying bed unit, but still needed increased control in the form of educational activities on the culture of safety For all employees and contractors, fulfillment of supporting facilities of work activities and improvement of housekeeping programs to all life-saving facilities need to be improved, as well as the advisable to do cable insulation activities as Highest risk control on sludge drying bed unit development project.
