Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the cost structure and see the relationship to profits in the apparel industry (convection) of textiles in Indonesia. The data analysis model used to determine the relationship between variables used Pearson correlation. The data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis methods through secondary data obtained from the publication of the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency, Statistics of Large and Medium Industries from 2007 to 2015. The results of this study indicate that the raw material is the largest in the structure the cost of the apparel industry from textiles in Indonesia. Pearson correlation analysis with the results (-0.267) and significance (0.488), so the results indicate that production costs have a negative and not significant effect on industry profits.
