Abstract
The aims of this research was to know water content, yield of extract and phytochemical compound on extract of Purun Tikus swamp (Eleocharis dulcis) with extraction process using n-hexane, ethyl acetate and ethanol solvent. This research was conducted in February 2017 until June 2017. Parameters observed were water content and yield of Purun Tikus extract (Eleocharis dulcis). The result of water content of Purun Tikus swamp (Eleocharis dulcis) which has been dried was 4.85%. The extraction yield using ethanol has the highest yield (14.334%) compared to the n-hexane solvent (0.229%) and the ethyl acetate solvent (1.767%). In the extract using ethanol solvent, phytochemical of extract were steroids and phenols, whereas in the extract using ethyl acetate solvent was obtained steroid while the use of n-heksan solvent there was no phytochemical compound obtained.
