Abstract

This research is entitled "The Implementation of Professional Allowance Policy for Islamic Education Teachers in the Ministry of Religion Ogan Ilir Regency". This research aims to determine the factors that influence the implementation of the professional allowance policy for islamic education teachers in the distribution of teacher profession allowances. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Sources of data obtained from primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation and literature studies. This research uses the implementation theory of George C. Edward III based on four variables to measure the success of policy implementation, namely communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of the allowance policy for Islamic education teachers in the distribution of allowance for teachers in the Ministry of Religion Ogan Ilir Regency has run quite well, but has not been optimal since there are still obstacles in the process of the implementation such as lack of socialization regarding SIAGA application, ineffective submission of information through the WhatsApp and KKG groups, the lack of supporting facilities for the implementation of policies and the transfer of authority from PAI teachers to school operators or PAKIS section operators. Suggestions recommended in this research are by conducting routine socialization on the SIAGA application, adding policy support facilities, and making SOPs and the structure of the PAKIS section in the form of banners to be attached to the walls of the PAKIS section.
