Abstract

Until today, tuberculosis is one of ten disease that cause The most death in the world. Based on Health Profile of Palembang City 2017, new cases of tuberculosis increase till 2.618 person in Palembang City. In Sukarami Public Health Center, there are five death case because of TB. This research intend to elaborate about the prevention of TBC transmission in the work area of public health center sukarami in 2019. This research used qualitative method with in-depth interview and observation. The informant of this research consists of 12 people, there are public health worker and patient family. Information delivery used conseling method only (indoor), for outdoor, was only through door to door once every year. Risk factor control only gives information and there are no advanced controlling, BCG immunization based on Health Ministry Regulation Number 12 in 2017. Personal Protective Equipment the worker used mask but there are no available mask for public. Enforcement of diagnosis was done by passive case-finding and follow-up examination was done when the prospective patient result came out as negative. Anti Tuberculosis Drug based on National Guidance TBC 2014. Progress monitoring and result of treatment not running optimally, and direct control of using drug in not running. Rehabilitation consists of education and social support that has been done through door to door event. Prevention of TBC transmission not running well based on National Guidance TBC 2014 and Health Ministry Regulation Number 12 in 2017. Much better if the worker do education outside public health center, do screening,
