Abstract
The geomorphometric model in the Ogan River Basin using hierarchical theory is identification in analyzing changes in the Ogan River from time to time in 1996 and 2019. The geomorphometric modeling of the Ogan River Basin uses landsat data. Changes in the geometry of the Ogan River Basin are supported by rainfall, land cover and geology. In applying the use of hierarchical theory, Lengkiti area was chosen. In this research using a preliminary survey method, data collection and data analysis. The Ogan River Basin picture presented by Landsat data in 1996 and 2019 has a different visualization by the change in meander morphometry. The application of hierarchical theory to the Ogan River meander morphometry calculation results in a difference of sinousity value of about 0.1. Rainfall data shows that high rainfall is in the upstream area and low rainfall in the downstream area. Types of land cover in the study area consisted of secondary dryland forests, open land, settlements, shrubs, dry land agriculture, mining, plantations, bushy dryland agriculture, rice fields and plantations that experienced changes in the range of 1996 and 2019. Talang Akar Formation (Tomt), Baturaja Formation (Tmb), Gumai Formation (Tmg), Muara Enim Formation (Tmpm), Kikim Formation (Tpok), Kasai Formation (Qtk), Tuf Volcanic Rock Formation (Qhv) and Aluvium (Qa) ) is a formation that is susceptible to changes in the morphometry of the Ogan River meander because it is dominated by fine-grained sediments. This meander parameter study is useful in estimating the picture of morphological evolution in the Ogan River Basin.
