Abstract

This study aimed to learn the growth and yield of shallot with a combination of bioslurry liquid organic fertilizer dosage treatment and application time. The study was conducted in August until October 2019, at the Research Station of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya Utara, Ogan Ilir. The research used Factorial Randomized Completely Block Design with 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor was liquid organic fertilizer bioslurry (B) which consisted of four levels, B0= 0% concentration of bioslurry, B1= 5% concentration of bioslurry, B2= 10% concentration of bioslurry, B3= 15% concentration of bioslurry. The second factor was application time of bioslurry (W) which consisted of three levels, namely W1= once application (2 MST), W2= twice application (2 & 4 MST), W3= three times application (2, 4 & 6 MST). Concentration of Bioslurry 5% was made by mixing 0,5 liters of Bioslurry dissolved in 9,5 liters of water. One plot (2 m-2) was given 10 l of liquid bioslurry. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, number of tubers, tuber diameter, fresh of tubers, dry weight of tuber wind and weight of tuber per plot. The result showed that combination of 10% liquid Bioslurry organic fertilizer treatment with 2 times the application of bioslurry (2 & 4 MST) gave the best effect on the growth and yield of shallot, the highest fresh tuber weight was 0,88 kg m-2.
