Abstract
Smarthome system is related to the implementation of the internet of things that can be referred the function of electronic devices which is connected to the network or internet and it can be controlled and monitor by using the application. The use of electronic devices in our home sometimes can be uncontrolled because of our tight activity and schedule that can make our energy over-using and ineffective. Based on the statement, the author has solutions to design and develop the system that can be used to control the use of electronic devices, such as light, fan and doorlock, doorbell notification, temperature and humidity monitoring, object detection also security camera. The development of this smarthome system is using RAD methodology and after that, we have the web application of smarthome system that can be accessed by using the desktop and mobile devices which will be used to connect with the function and features of the smarthome system, also we are hoping that this system could be implemented in any aspect of our life and could be used for many people in the general term.
