Abstract
This study aims to get information about the ability of scientific argumentation skill of students on the environment change. This research was conducted in class XI MIA 2, XI MIA 3, and XI MIA 5 at SMA Negeri 10 Palembang wich was randomly selected. The methods used in this study is a descriptive method that discusses the students sciencetific argumentation skill. The instrument used to measure use the students scientific argumentation skill is essay question developed by the researchers based on the Toulmin’s Argument Pattern (TAP). The data about the students scientific argumentation skill as analysed descriptively. The reaserch show that the average to some take of the students scientific argumentation skill is in the is level 3 (37,78%).
