Abstract

PT Muara Alam Sejahtera, is a coal mining company located in Lahat regency. Founded in 2004 and has carried out coal stripping and sales activities with a Mining Business License (IUP) for production operations around 1.754 ha. The mining method applied is the open mining method in its operation using a backhoe excavator as a loading dug and dump truck as a conveyance. As a planning stage for the reclamation of the disposal of this southern area, the land surface arrangement was carried out by the DZ 85 ESS bulldozer with a productivity of 98.83 BCM/hour. The topping up of the top soil was carried out by the komatsu DZ 85 ESS bulldozer with a productivity of 327.68 LCM/hour. The digging tool used by the Hitachi ZX 470 LC backhoe excavator with a productivity of 285,78 LCM/hour and a conveyance using a Beiben 2464 dump truck with a productivity of 285,71 LCM/hour. The reclaimed land area of 8.28 ha was done with top soil sowing with a production target of 24.837,71 LCM. Revegetation is based on data on the distribution of soil types in Lahat regency. Plants suitable for planting are rubber trees and pioneer ingredients with a total of 7.360 seedlings. The total cost incurred for the disposal of the southern reclamation area is Rp. 553.857.327 consisting of direct costs of Rp. 429.679.850 consisting of costs for land use and temporary revegetation for indirect costs of Rp. 124.177.447.
