Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of self-acceptance towards happiness on women after break up. The hypothesis of this study includes the role of self-acceptance towards happiness on women after break up. The participant of this study is 150 women aged 18-30 years old. Sampling is done by using purposive sampling techniques. This study uses two scales as a measure, namely the self-acceptance scale and the happiness scale that refers to aspects of self-acceptance from Carson dan Langer (2006) and the aspects of happiness from Seligman (2012). Hypotesis testing is done using simple regression analysis. From the test result obtained the results of the hypothesis that there is a role of self-acceptance towards happiness R square=0,362, F=83.930, p=0,000 (p<0,05). Thus the proposed hypothesis is accepted.
