Abstract

This aims to produce interactive multimedia products that recognize valid and practical aquatic animals of Palembang City for Children group B in kindergarten. The development used a combination of the ADDIE and Tessmer development models. The ADDIE model consists of five stages, namely analysis, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. At the evaluation stage, the researcher used the Tessmer formative evaluation method covering self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, and small group evaluation. The data were collected through interviews, walkthrough, and observations. Based on material validation results get a score of 91% and on media validation get a 94% score with a 92% product validation average with a very valid category. In the results of one-to-one evaluation phase, get a value of 89% while the results of the small group evaluation stage get a value of 90%. With the average of these two results 89% with a very practical category. The advantages of interactive multimedia products have the appeal of the product display by combining multiple videos, images, text and audio so as to increase the interest of learning for children. With this interactive multimedia development products know the water animals originating from Palembang city for children group B in kindergarten is declared valid and practical so it is worth to use.
