Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan neopentana dengan kapasitas produksi 23.000 ton/tahun ini direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2025 di Desa Rawa Arum, Kecamatan Gerogol, Kota Cilegon yang diperkirakan memiliki luas area sebesar 6 Ha. Bahan baku dari pembuatan neopentana ini adalah neoheksana dan gas hidrogen. Proses pembuatan neopentana ini mengacu pada US Patent No. US 2019/0169092 A1 dengan proses dimetilasi neoheksana dengan gas hidrogen membentuk produk neopentana. Reaktor yang digunakan berupa reaktor jenis fixed bed reactor. Reaktor beroperasi pada temperatur 300 oC dan tekanan 30 psia. Bentuk perusahaan yang akan digunakan pada pabrik ini adalah Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi Line dan Staff, dipimpin oleh seorang Direktur dengan total karyawan 179 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, pabrik neopentana ini layak untuk didirikan karena telah memenuhi berbagai macam persyaratan parameter ekonomi, yaitu sebagai berikut: a) Biaya Investasi = USD 151.118.021 b) Hasil penjualan per tahun = USD 85.180.984 c) Biaya produksi per tahun = USD 52.940.035 d) Laba bersih per tahun = USD 22.568.664 e) Pay Out time = 2,8 tahun f) Return on investment = 18,67% g) Discounted Cash Flow-ROR = 39,04% h) Break Even Point = 23,44% i) Service Life = 11 tahun
