Abstract

This study aims to determine the community’s efforts to maintain the Syarofal’ Anam in Muara Penimbung Ulu Village. This research used descriptive menthod with a qualitative approach. There were six people who became the informants in this study. Data collection techniques which has been used were documentation, interviews and observations. The validity test of the data applied included the reliability test, transferability test, dependability test and confirmability test, Data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the data analysis and discussion that has been done, it can be concluded that the efforts made by the community in maintaining the syarofal’anam art were by doing socialization for the syarofal’ anam art, creating a social media account for the syarofal’ anam art, providing a place for the training of syarofal’ anam and providing syarofal’ anam art instrument.
