Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan Etil Tersier Butil Eter (ETBE) dengan kapasitas produksi 100.000 ton/tahun direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2027 di wilayah Palembang, Sumatera Selatan, yang diperkirakan memiliki luas area 5 Ha. Proses pembuatan ETBE mengacu pada US Patent 9,169,183 B1, dimana metode yang digunakan merupakan proses eterifikasi Tert-Butil Alkohol (TBA) dan etanol membentuk ETBE dan air. Reaksi berlangsung pada dua unit reaktor Reactive Distillation Column (RDC) dengan katalis Amberlyst-15. Pabrik ini didirikan dengan bentuk perusahaan Perseroan Terbatas (PT sistem organisasi line and staff, yang dipimpin oleh seorang direktur utama dengan total karyawan 187 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, pabrik propilen oksida ini layak untuk didirikan karena telah memenuhi berbagai macam persyaratan parameter ekonomi sebagai berikut: • Investasi = US$ 103.312.494,317 • Hasil penjualan per tahun = US$ 1.141.635.324,177 • Biaya produksi per tahun = US$ 1.010.971.236,042 • Laba bersih per tahun = US$ 91.464.861,695 • Pay Out Time = 1 tahun • Rate of Return = 88,532% • Discounted Cash Flow¬-ROR = 96,209% • Break Even Point = 38,884% • Service Life = 11 tahun
