Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan propilen oksida dengan kapasitas produksi 85.000 ton/tahun direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2024 di kawasan industri Cilegon, Banten, yang diperkirakan memiliki luas area 5,12 ha. Proses pembuatan propilen oksida ini mengacu pada Patent US 2019/0210989 A1, dimana metode proses yang digunakan merupakan proses epoksidasi hidrogen peroksida dan propilen membentuk propilen oksida dan air. Reaksi berlangsung pada dua reaktor seri berupa multitubular fixed bed reactor dengan temperatur 60C dan tekanan 20 bar. Pabrik ini akan didirikan dengan bentuk perusahaan Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi line and staff, yang dipimpin oleh seorang direktur utama dengan total karyawan 158 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, pabrik propilen oksida ini layak untuk didirikan karena telah memenuhi berbagai macam persyaratan parameter ekonomi sebagai berikut: • Investasi = US$ 142.258.291,35 • Hasil penjualan per tahun = US$ 180.325.101,04 • Biaya produksi per tahun = US$ 94.728.500,46 • Laba bersih per tahun = US$ 59.917.620,41 • Pay Out Time = 2,67 tahun • Rate of Return = 42,12% • Discounted Cash Flow-ROR = 33,12% • Break Even Point = 22,99% • Service Life = 11 tahun.
