Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan memudarnya adat sedekah ubat pada masyarakat di Desa Talang Daya Kecamatan Pangkalan Lampam Kabupaten OKI. Informan berjumlah tujuh orang yang didapat menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji credibility, transferability, dependability, confirmability. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dapat diketahui bahwa ada empat faktor yang menyebabkan memudarnya adat sedekah ubat yaitu perubahan penduduk, pertentangan dalam masyarakat, sistem pendidikan formal yang maju, dan kemampuan ekonomi masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Faktor sedekah ubat memudar ABSTRACT This research is to find out the factors that cause the waning of customary alms in the community in Talang Daya Village, Pangkalan Lampam District, OKI Regency. Seven informants were obtained using a purposive sampling technique. The method in this research uses descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. Test the validity of the data in this study using the test of credibility, transferability, dependability, confirmability. Data analysis in this study uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of observational data analysis, interviews, and documentation, it can be seen that there are four factors that cause the waning of customary charity, namely population change, conflict in society, advanced formal education systems, and economic capacity of the community.
