Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan 1,2-Propanediol dengan kapasitas 40.000 ton/tahun ini direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2025 di Jalan Pantai Tj. Peni, Kecamatan Citangkil, Cilegon, Banten yang diperkirakan memiliki luas area 4,5 Ha. Proses pembuatan 1,2-propanediol ini mengacu pada U.S. Patent 2019/0256447 A1, dimana proses yang digunakan merupakan proses hidrogenolisis gliserol pada reaktor Trickle Bed menggunakan katalis CuZnOAl2O3 pada temperatur 205oC dan tekanan 20 atm. Reaksi yang terjadi pada reaktor adalah sebagai berikut: C3H8O3 (l) + H2 (g) = C3H8O2 (l) + H2O (l) (Gliserol) (Hidrogen)(1,2-Propanediol) (Air) Pabrik yang akan didirikan ini merupakan perusahaan berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi Line and Staff, dengan total karyawan 132 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, pabrik 1,2-propanediol ini layak didirikan karena telah memenuhi persyaratan parameter ekonomi, yaitu: • Total Capital Investment = US $ 32.055.405,70 • Selling price = US $ 140.471.037,40 • Total Production Cost = US $ 113.873.772,11 • Annual Cash Flow = US $ 20.951.719,24 • Pay Out Time = 1,4025 tahun • Rate of Return on Investment = 58,0810 % • Discounted Cash Flow = 81,5858 % • Break Event Point (BEP) = 33,9028 % • Service Life = 11 tahun Kata Kunci : 1,2-Propanediol, Trickle Bed Reactor, Analisa Ekonomi
